Job Description

Responsible to the captain for his conduct as deckhand. Show respect to the yacht captain and follow his instruction. Provide hospitality to the guests while they are onboard. Proactive and obedient to all orders given to him in way of undertaken his duty onboard. Ensure vessel interior/exteriors standards by cleaning and preparing the yachts. Welcoming the guest on board the vessel, assists guests with all needs, provide refreshment and ensure complies with any request as needed.

Scope of Work

• Main operations: To operate company vessels to transport passengers from/to the islands daily.
• Working hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Contract period: 6 months. 
• Start date: 1 week after signing the contact.
• Male or Female is acceptable.
• The agency shall provide protection and indemnity insurance for the outsourced crew.
•  Yachts captains shosuld be experienced/able to operate the both types of yachts (Pershing 64 and Riva 75)

 

Qualifications

• Minimum +2 years’ deckhand experience with some hospitality passenger care skill.
• Holder of discharge book.
• Must hold valid medical fitness certificate (ENG1) 
• Must hold valid STCW certificate or equivalent. 
• Must hold VHF Radio Operation certificate or equivalent. 
• Must hold valid Powerboat Level 2 certificate or equivalent. 
• Must hold vessel security awareness certificate. 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Complete fluency in written and spoken English. 
• Proficiency in swimming. 
• Minimum age 21. 
• Medical fit.
