Job Description

General Requirements

• Diploma in Sterilization Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Registered at a licensing authority
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

 

Job Specification

• Collection, cleaning, assembly, packaging and disinfection or sterilization of instruments and hollowware
• Operation of associated equipment and machinery according to policy and procedure
• Decontamination and packaging of anesthetic equipment
• Reporting any breakages or faulty equipment
• Ensuring the department functions safely and efficiently at all times
• Keep work areas tidy, clean and restocked
