General Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance or related Field
• Minimum 5 years’ background in relevant field of which 3 years in a Supervisory role
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills & proficiency in English (written & verbal)
• Local & Foreign Insurance knowledge

Job Specification

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Credit & Claims Department
• Oversee and streamline collections processes
• Evaluation and management of Credit Applications and Credit Agreements
• Evaluation and tracking of all Insurance arrangements.
• Accounts maintenance, bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Responsible for relationship building and management with the Debtors
• Responsible for keeping in continuous contact with the responsible parties involved as to payments due and the status of their accounts
• Ensure timely claims submissions and in accordance with the payer requirements
• Prepare, maintain and, submit all relevant reports, and track Credit and Claims performance
• Maintain a proper audit of Credit and Claims department functions
