General Requirements
Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in hospital in-patient billing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work under pressure and to work in a multicultural team
Job Specification
Attending to all queries and providing all the required information to the guests regarding admission and discharge process, packages, prices, promotions etc.
Support guests in scheduling and preparing for medical procedures or surgeries
Liaise with local and international insurance providers to secure pre-authorizations and Guarantee of Payment (GOPs)
Manage cooperate billing process and foster strong relationships with cooperate clients
Prepare daily reports, including IPD quotations, high-balance reports, financial counselling records, admission/discharge efficiency reports, and daily bill reconciliation reports
Collaborate with Finance Team for reconciliation and bill verification
Analyze variances between estimated and actual costs for surgeries and procedures, identifying cost overruns by category (e.g., pharmacy, ward, or doctor fees) and report findings to your HODs
Evaluate average coverage provided by local and international insurance schemes for specific medical cases and prepare reports to support financial counselling and billing processes
Verify insurance coverage for medical procedures or cases by coordinating with insurance providers and updating patients and relevant departments accordingly
