Job Description

Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing internal data and generating timely, insightful reports that inform strategic decisions and support the senior management team. Working under the Head of Administration, Finance & Compliance, the BI Analyst will gather, structure, and interpret organizational data to produce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc performance reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn data into actionable intelligence for executive leadership.

 

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

1. Data Management & Integration

  • Collect, clean, and consolidate operational, financial, and HR data from internal departments.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across systems and reports.

  • Maintain structured digital records and historical data archives.

2. Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Perform quantitative analysis on operational and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.

  • Support senior management with evidence-based insights for planning and strategic interventions.

  • Generate internal intelligence briefs highlighting key observations and recommendations.

3. Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Prepare high-quality weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for senior management and board-level review.

  • Design and manage dashboards to monitor KPIs across functions (operations, finance, HR, compliance).

  • Visualize complex data into understandable charts, graphs, and summaries.

4. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Work with Finance, Administration, HR, and Operations teams to ensure timely data submissions.

  • Assist in aligning departmental reporting to strategic goals and performance metrics.

5. Confidentiality & Data Governance

  • Handle sensitive and confidential data with strict adherence to internal policies.

  • Support the establishment of standard reporting formats, templates, and governance frameworks.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or performance monitoring roles.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts); familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong advantage.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dhivehi.

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management skills.
