DIRECTOR - ACCOUNTING

Job Description

  • Ensure retainer client bookkeeping deadlines are met, records are accurate, and reconciliations are completed.
  • Manage bookkeeping staff, assign workloads, and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the main contact for client bookkeeping matters.
  • Maintain client satisfaction, renew contracts, and identify upselling opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • ACCA Professional Level / ACCA Member or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, IFRS for SME’s, ISA’s and tax laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software (such as Quickbooks) and MS Office suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines
