Job Description

1. Operations Functions
- Assist the Head of Operations in all day-to-day operational activities of MSE and MSD.
- Monitor post-trade activities, including generation and dissemination of trade reports and communications with the Trading Members.
- Administer and execute MSD account-related activities, transfers, deposits, and withdrawals in line with the procedures of the company.
- Oversee the account registrations on Viyana and ensure timely execution of the registrations.
- Oversee the clearing and settlement process for trades and administration of the margin accounts of the Clearing Members.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of trade statistics by close of each trading day.
- Support customer relations, including answering phone calls, email communications, and general customer queries.


2. Compliance Functions

- Assist the Operations department to review and update internal policies to mitigate the risk of the company breaching any laws and regulations.
- Assist in market surveillance activities, including preparing surveillance reports and maintaining proper records of the surveillance activities.
- Conduct inspections of Trading Members to ensure compliance with market laws and regulations.
- Maintain and regularly update the company’s compliance matrix.
- Support compliance checks for listing and prospectus requirements related to new offerings.


3. Accounts and Finance Functions
- Assist in the monthly and annual budgets through coordination with relevant departments and senior management and submit for approvals in a timely manner.
- Assist in processing and management of dividend and coupon payments for listed companies, including maintaining accurate dividend and coupon records and timely updating of the systems.
- Assist in finance functions including but not limited to, preparation of payments to vendors, data entry to systems, monthly management accounts, management of account receivables, and invoicing to customers.


4. Other functions

- Administrative and client support for Registrar functions of the company
- Administrative support and event management support for AGM management functions of the company
- Undertake any other functions as may be assigned by the Management.
