Job Description

General Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Hospital
• Registered at a licensing authority
• The Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) if any
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Job Specification

• Assist HOD in planning and executing the implementation of quality standards
• Assist HOD to interpret, fill and produce External Prescription for the procurement of medications
• Proactively involve in the function of Pharmacy Therapeutic Committee
• Liaise with Clinicians, Nurses and other healthcare providers to ensure safe, effective and economical use of drugs and consumables
• Assist HOD to monitor expiry goods and carry out system write off of expired and damaged goods
• Conduct daily round to IP Pharmacy, OP Pharmacy and Stores
• Supervise the organization of inventories and assist in completion of audit reports
• Prepares reports on warehouse receiving activities, individual patient prescriptions dispensed and bulk chemical preparation; maintain narcotic inventory
• Assist HOD to conduct formal and informal performance reviews of all Pharmacy staff
• Support HOD to perform various administrative duties, such as developing staff schedules, enforcing disciplinary procedures, etc.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the HOD from time to time
