Job Description

Key duties/responsibilities

  • To participate in all activities in the daily routine work of the Dive and watersport center
  • Creative thinking with progressive solutions in comforting the guests needs keeping guest safety always at first place.
  • Bring forward new creative ideas/activities in line with the standards of The Nautilus in coordination with GM/EOM and Dive-watersport consultant
  • Responsible of the Dive and watersport operations and team
  • Responsible to write/implementing and update SOP of the Dive and Watersport Centre
  • Responsible of training staff according the SOP
  • Responsible to team training to improve the staff skills
  • Responsible to instruct asst. base-leader task in case of absent base-leader
  • Attend management meetings when requested.
  • Responsible for appraisals of dive and watersport centre employees in coordination with HR
  • HR related task as instructed by HR manager
  • Teaching PADI courses
  • Guiding of dives
  • Guiding of snorkel excursions.
  • Overlook and assist the watersport activities in close coordination with the watersport instructor.
  • Daily responsible for all watersport equipment and dive/snorkel equipment to be maintained in excellent working condition, incl services, cleaning and full tanks.
  • Be end responsible of the service, cleaning lists of all watersport and dive/snorkel equipment and logs on a monthly base
  • Daily bills processing of the Dive and watersport center activities
  • Monthly inventory
  • Maintaining the inventory list and advice if new inventory is needed to GM/EOM and Dive and Watersport consultant
  • Monthly P&L report for the GM/EOM
  • Assist in budget and capex in coordination with accounts and GM/EOM
  • Report on incidents to GM/EOM and dive and Watersport consultant
  • Support the Marine biologist in achieving the goals for Marine related projects
  • Be responsible for all comfort service towards The Nautilus guests, such as but not limited to; set up and disconnect dive equipment, bringing/taking equipment to house reef/boat, rinsing guest equipment, take utmost care of the guest dive equipment
  • Be responsible that all registration forms and liabilities are filled out before any activity takes place
  • Be responsible for the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of all the Dive and watersport center guests
  • Any other assigned task by the GM/EOM and/or Dive and watersport center consultants
  • Understands the value of constant training and pro-actively supports all training activities at The Nautilus. Commits to our environmental and ethical requirements (see separate appendix) and ensures all team likewise commit wholeheartedly.
  • Lives, breathes and delivers The Nautilus mission, vision and brand DNA (see separate appendix) and ensures all team follow suit.
