The Assistant Accounts Officer at Taviyani Pvt Ltd is responsible for supporting the financial operations by accurately recording transactions, managing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. The Assistant Accounts Officer will work closely with the finance team to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of financial record-keeping.
Note: This is a full-time position that primarily involves office-based tasks and may occasionally require support for audits or other financial events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper documentation of expenses and vendor bills.
- Record daily sales, refunds, receipts, and payments.
- Process supplier/vendor payments.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and pending payments.
- Ensure system records match actual balances.
- Prepare expense reports, profit/loss, cash flow, and GST reports.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to understand financial instructions.
- Familiarity with Maldivian financial regulations and GST reporting is an added advantage
