About Us
Utheemu Council is a local government institution that provides a wide range of public services to the community. The Council has around 70 staff members, including council members, Women’s Development Committee (WDC) members, permanent civil service employees, contract staff, and wage workers. The office is organized into four main units: the Corporate Affairs Unit, Infrastructure Development Unit, Economic and Municipal Service Unit, and Social Service Unit. Together, these units work to ensure effective service delivery and support the overall development of the community.
