About Us
Addu City Council was established pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 2010/15. The Council is a separate legal entity with the capacity to sue and be sued in its own name, the authority to enter into transactions, and possesses its own official seal. The Council’s vision is to transform Addu City into a model development hub of the Maldives—a city where a resilient, courageous, and healthy population, dedicated to the service of faith and nation, thrives in a safe, secure, and harmonious environment characterized by prosperity and civil advancement.
