Certificate III in Plumbing course, Apprentices will learn how to use hand tools as they master the art of pipe bending and soldering techniques, whilst working towards installing bathrooms and heating systems. During this course Apprentices will cover following areas 


•    Health and safety
•    Basic principles and jointing processes
•    Scientific principles of plumbing
•    Principles of hot water
•    Principles of cold water
•    Principles of heating and sanitation systems

In addition to this, Apprentices will have the opportunity to gain work experience within the construction industry.

Eligibility:

The World Bank COVID-19 Income Support Project was initiated to assist individuals whose employment was impacted by the pandemic. 

As per the project requirements, individuals without a job or working less than 20 hours per week (at the time of application) are eligible for this assistance (please refer to the Apprenticeship Program Usoolu for more information).
 
Funding:

100% Government Funded

Allowance:

A stipend of MVR 6,000 will be paid monthly for the entire duration of the apprenticeship program.
